Terms of service

Last updated 20 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-20

These terms explain how you may use MoneyFrame, a tool for tracking household money. By creating an account or using MoneyFrame you agree to them. Please read them with our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your information.

1. What MoneyFrame is

MoneyFrame helps you record transactions, accounts, debts, bills, goals, budgets and investments, and shows summaries and reports based on what you enter or import.

MoneyFrame is an information tool. It is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and it does not move money, make payments or connect to your bank to take any action. Always check important figures with your bank statements or a qualified adviser.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password and sign-in method secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. Households and sharing

You can create households and invite other people with owner, admin, editor or viewer access. People you invite can see and, depending on their role, change that household's records.

Only invite people you trust. Household owners decide who has access and can remove members at any time.

4. Your data

You own the financial records you add. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run MoneyFrame for you.

You can export your records, archive or delete them, and restore deleted records from the recycle bin. Permanently erased records cannot be recovered.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't try to access another person's household or account without permission.
  • Don't upload harmful files, attack, overload or probe the service for weaknesses.
  • Don't use MoneyFrame for anything unlawful, including fraud or money laundering.

6. Accuracy of figures

Summaries, tax estimates, share prices and reports depend on the information entered and on outside sources. Amounts are shown to two decimal places and never rounded up. We work hard to keep figures correct, but we can't guarantee they are complete or free of errors.

7. Assistant answers

The assistant reads only the household you are viewing and cannot change your records. Its answers may be incomplete or wrong, so check anything important before you rely on it.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep MoneyFrame available, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve, change or retire features.

9. Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will explain why where we can. You can stop using MoneyFrame at any time and delete your households from Settings.

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on information shown in MoneyFrame.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make an important change, we will update the version and date above and ask you to accept the new terms the next time you sign in. Small wording fixes don't need new acceptance.
